Keep writing your calendar the way you already do

Every business has its own shorthand: a booking code in front, an honorific, a job word, a price, a room number. It is there because it is useful to you. The problem is only that most reminder tools paste the whole thing into the message. Remindlo does not ask you to change any of it.

It never invents a name

This is the part that matters more than the clever part. Every name that reaches a customer has to already be in the entry you wrote - the check is mechanical, not a matter of the model behaving itself. If an entry holds two people, or an address, or a job rather than a person, nothing is guessed. The name is left blank and the greeting simply closes up, so the message reads naturally instead of opening with a gap.

• Two people in one entry, or no person at all, means no name
• A message with no name still reads properly, with no empty space

A tool quietly rewriting names in your customer list would be worse than no tool. So every name worked out this way carries a small marker in your contacts, and opening it shows you the exact calendar entry it came from. Nothing to approve and no queue to work through - the explanation is simply there when you look at that customer.

Names you gave us are never touched

If a customer's name came from a guest on the invitation, from a spreadsheet you imported, or from you typing it in, a person has already answered the question and there is nothing to work out. Name recognition only ever looks at entries where the name would otherwise be whatever the title happened to say.
