A cancelled clean costs the slot, not the hour

    SMS Reminders
    for Cleaning Businesses

A cancellation at the door is not one lost hour. It is the travel, the gap you cannot refill at short notice, and the rest of the round pushed about. Remindlo texts the customer before the visit, so the clean is either confirmed or freed up in time to fill it.

No credit card required. Set up in under 5 minutes.

The cancellation always arrives too late

Nobody minds a customer rearranging. The damage is in when they tell you, not that they told you.

You lose the slot, not the hour

Told at the door, a two hour clean costs you the travel either side as well, and there is nobody free to take the space at an hour's notice.

    3+ hrs
Gone from a 2 hour booking

    Nobody in, no way in

A locked door, a key not left out, a dog shut in the wrong room. A wasted journey usually starts with a customer who simply forgot which day it was.

Texting the round by hand does not scale

Typing out tomorrow's customers each evening works at ten customers. At forty it is the job you keep putting off, and the one you skip when you are tired.

    Nightly
    A chore that never ends

Cleaning runs on a cycle, which is exactly what can be automated

    Every 7 days
    Weekly domestic clean
    Every 14 days
    Fortnightly clean, the common case
    Every 4 weeks
Monthly deep clean or communal areas
    One-offs
End of tenancy and spring cleans, no cycle
    26
Visits a year from one fortnightly customer

Set the cycle once. The round reminds itself.

Each customer carries their own interval. After every visit the next date moves forward on its own, calculated from the last clean, so a Tuesday customer stays a Tuesday customer.

    What goes into the message

    The date and the time
Both, not just the date. A customer who knows it is Thursday morning rather than Thursday will actually be in.
    Who is coming
Naming the cleaner matters when someone is letting a stranger into their home. It is one word and it changes how the message reads.
    Payment terms
A line such as payment is due at the time of cleaning goes out with every reminder, so it is never a conversation on the doorstep.
Anything you need them to do
Leave the key out, shut the dog in the kitchen, clear the worktops. The reminder is the natural place to ask.

    Why choose Remindlo?

It is a reminder layer, not a job management platform. Choose Remindlo if:

    • Your work is recurring, weekly or fortnightly, and you want the reminder cycle to look after itself rather than being retyped each evening.
    • You want payment terms in the reminder, so the awkward part of the visit is handled before you arrive.
    • You need to choose the send time, because domestic customers read a text in the evening and an office manager reads it at eleven in the morning.
    • You want to keep the diary you already use, whether that is Google Calendar, a spreadsheet or a notebook in the van, and add reminders on top of it.
    • You are a sole trader or a small team and want to start on a free plan of 10 SMS a month rather than a per-seat contract.

    Works with your calendar

Connect Remindlo to the tools you already use and turn scheduled appointments into automatic SMS reminders.

    Works with Google Calendar

Already use Google Calendar for bookings? Connect it to Remindlo and every appointment with a phone number triggers an SMS reminder automatically. No extra steps.

Don't use Google? Connect Outlook, Microsoft 365, Apple iCloud, Fastmail, Yahoo, Proton, or any webmail/hosting calendar by pasting its public ICS URL.

Set up once. The round runs itself.

Bring in your regulars, set the cycle, and the reminders carry on without you touching them again.

    1

    Bring in your customers

Import a CSV, sync Google, Outlook or Apple Calendar, or photograph the page of the notebook you keep in the van.

    2

    Set the cycle

7 days, 14 days, 4 weeks. The date advances from the last clean, so the rota never slips a day at a time.

    3

    Write the message once

Date, time, who is coming and your payment terms, sent under your business name at the hour you choose.

    4

    Fewer wasted journeys

Customers confirm or rearrange before you set off, and you see what was delivered in the dashboard.

Round written in a notebook? Take a photo

No spreadsheet to export? Photograph the page and Remindlo reads the names, numbers and dates for you, about 30 seconds instead of an hour of typing.

Why SMS beats calling the round

Customers do not answer an unknown number in the evening, and an email about tomorrow's clean is read the day after.

    Built for a repeating round

The features that matter when the same customers come round again every fortnight.

    Cycles in days

7, 14 or 28 days per customer. A fortnightly clean is one setting, not a diary entry you copy forward.

    Choose the send time

Evening for domestic customers, working hours for commercial contracts. Set per reminder list.

    Payment terms in the message

Your own wording, so every reminder repeats when and how you expect to be paid.

Domestic and commercial side by side

Separate reminder lists with different wording and timing, running against one customer book.

    Works on your diary

Google Calendar sync, an Outlook or Apple calendar feed, CSV import, or a photo of a paper page.

    Delivery tracking

See which reminders went out before you set off in the morning, and follow up only where you need to.

Consent to receive messages is recorded per customer with the date it was given, and can be withdrawn from the dashboard at any time. Messages go out under your business name with your own contact details, so anyone who wants to stop hearing from you contacts you directly.

    Cost per customer example

30 fortnightly customers is 26 visits each a year. One reminder per visit is about 780 messages, which fits the Starter plan's 900 SMS a year.

    ~£6.60/customer/year

Starter Yearly, £199 a year with 900 SMS included. Against 26 cleans that is roughly 25p a visit.
